THE BEST JEWELRY TRENDS FROM PARIS FASHION WEEK SPRING 2019

Some of our favorite jewelry trends spotted on the runways at Paris Fashion Week for Spring 2019. There was definitely more metal and less color than seen in New York, London and Milan, but there were also overlapping themes. Overall, some amazing ideas!

    NECK RINGS AND OPEN CHOKERS

    CLEAR CRYSTAL

Clear crystal and rhinestones, often in “drippy” styles, aren’t just for Holiday anymore. They evoke a definitive 80s fashion period, and look fresh again, most often paired with silver. Isabel Marant paired the crystals with stonewashed denim… just in case you missed the 80s reference from just the jewelry.

    JANGLY AND SWINGY DISKS

Gold coins, medallions and silver sequin-like metal disks all made major appearances on the runways, as did linear earrings swinging from chains.

    INSANE EARRINGS

Statement earrings are one thing, but these earrings take us to the future and back again.

    GOLD STANDARD

Metals might be tilting to silver with lots of chain, but gold earrings, particularly creative hoops, remain strong.

    BOLD LINKS

Links and chains of all sizes wrapped necks, wrists and bodies.

    LEATHER

Leather collars, earrings and mini pouches put a whole new take on things

    SHELLS

Shells showed up with macrame and other beachy vibes, but they were also dipped in gold for a more upscale interpretation.

    ARTS & CRAFTS

Kick it old school to those summer camp days, with beaded, crafted and hand-painted jewelry. Even a skinny crochet scarf falls into the jewelry category.

    A CLEAR WINNER

We already talked about the clear crystal trend across all accessories at Paris Fashion Week, but it bears repeating. Clear beads and bangle stacks are dramatic in their purity.
